Music indeed matters to us – it has the power to open our minds to new and important insights; it also has a way of reaching into the depths of our souls in ways that words alone cannot. The songs listed here were named by folks connected to First UMC; these songs have, in some way, deeply impacted those of us who call First UMC our church home. Look over the list – we hope it helps you get to know us better!
If you would like to add to our playlist, please contact the church secretary.  Let her know the song title and artist as well as your name, age, and reason for identifying this song (if you’re willing to share that info!).  Feel free to send up to 5 songs.
We’re not just looking for your favorite songs: we want to know what songs have been particularly meaningful to you in your lifetime.
